Our partner is currently hiring for the position of Vice President of Enterprise Data in Minnetonka, MN. The main responsibility of this role is to develop and implement the enterprise data strategy to improve the company's digital, operational, and analytical capabilities. As the Vice President, you will work closely with senior leaders to ensure efficient data governance and consumption processes, reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer.
Responsibilities
- Data Strategy and Roadmap
- Lead development of the company's data strategy.
- Implement new data capabilities to enhance customer experience, provider integration, and improve healthcare cost/quality and administrative efficiency.
- Assess and recommend optimal technological solutions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders on strategy integration.
- Data Architecture, Management, and Governance
- Work with the architecture team to deliver a modern data architecture.
- Oversee the end-to-end data ecosystem to ensure consistency, quality, speed, and usability.
- Enhance data capabilities such as EMR integration and digital experience improvements.
- Implement robust data governance to meet compliance standards.
- Manage data technology and consulting vendor relationships.
- Analytics Enablement
- Collaborate on the company's analytics strategy.
- Enhance data availability, user enablement, and tool selection.
- Modernize analytical methodologies including predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI.
- Digital Enablement
- Support the company's digital strategy.
- Align API strategy with data strategy.
- Support AI use in software.
- Operational Reporting Enablement
- Ensure data needs of operational business users are met.
- Improve self-service reporting capabilities.
- Global Team Leadership
- Provide leadership and development for the enterprise data team.
- Support a diverse workforce strategy and manage global partnerships for cost-effective talent solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years in data and technology.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a senior leader accountable for enterprise data strategy and people leadership.
Skills and Abilities
- Proven ability to create and execute a strategy and engage stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in a matrixed environment.
- Executive management experience in technology and data.
- Experience with a range of technologies and data platforms.
- Understanding of technology delivery, including Agile development, program methodologies, architecture, integration, and quality assurance.
- Experience leading teams in technology, data management, and analytical services.
- Acumen in IT budgeting, cost management, and demand management.
- Strong people management skills with experience managing multiple projects.
- Collaboration experience across functions in a matrix environment.
- Ability to challenge assumptions and ensure successful delivery.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and influence teams and programs.

Additional Information

- The annual salary range will depend on factors such as education, work experience, certifications, and the position's scope and responsibility.
- This position may be eligible for incentive plan compensation.
