Tax Internship: Summer 2025 (Part-Time)

We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Tax Department. Our tax team proactively services individuals and businesses to help clients minimize taxes and maximize growth. With ongoing continuing education, you’ll stay current on tax legislation to identify strategic tax planning opportunities for clients.

As an Intern, you will work on individual return preparation and a variety of tax administrative responsibilities. There is also the opportunity to work on special projects as they become available. You will be given the support you need to develop a breadth of skills and experiences that will enable you to achieve your goals. Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of basic individual income tax returns
• Conduct initial assessment of client data
• Scan original client documents
• Verify the accuracy of tax information imported electronically into the tax return

• Quarterly tax planning
• Tax research projects
• Special projects as assigned (i.e., corporate tax returns both S and C Corp)

Requirements

• Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 150 credit hours
• Minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid track record of academic achievements

• Available to work (around 32 hours per week) Monday – Thursday.
• Completion of intermediate accounting course(s)
• Completion of some Tax and/or Audit course(s) by time of internship
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Exemplary communication and organizational skills
• Strong desire to learn and develop professionally
• Motivated to serve clients
• Desire to be a team player

Internships are paid experiences which run June – August in our Eden Prairie, Minnesota office. We recruit well in advance of this time frame to allow youflexibility and time to make arrangements for housing and required classes.
