We are Winbro. We are at the heart of the green hydrogen revolution enabling production of next generation fuel cells with our ultra fast laser drilling and welding technologies. Our technology is capable of producing highly complex micro parts to micron level accuracies, creating a revolution in personalised drug delivery and medical care. Our equipment is capable of producing highly complex semiconductor parts, enabling next level efficiencies in electronics manufacturing.

JOIN US as a Sales Director and we can offer you an opportunity to work in a high-tech, specialist company working with some of the best global names in aerospace, medical, semiconductor and clean energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mission to increase business in the medical device market, both for Winbro’s machine tool systems and for component manufacturing
  • Create plan of action of medical device market by mapping the market, identifying key players, and defining an infiltration strategy
  • Analyse Winbro’s R&D, products, and applications to determine how competitive and current our products are against the latest trends in the industry
  • Monitor external and internal environment for development of new market segments and feedback to the Winbro leadership team
  • Assist in the production of feasibility studies/business plans for new product development. Identify and report any shortcomings of product offerings to help with future products
  • Support sales team in customer analysis and sales visits to assess opportunities in the medical device market. Including marketing initiatives such as trade shows, creating marketing materials, and other promotional activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in in Business Management, Engineering, or related field (or relevant experience would be preferred)
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 and medical device manufacturing processes
  • With prior experience in complex medical device manufacturing, you will have successfully shown the ability to understand clients and manufacturing methods in a high technology machining environment
  • Demonstrated successful business development experience with proven delivered business growth and in-depth knowledge of manufacturing future technologies
  • Proven commercial acumen to assess, document and strategically plan business change into new markets
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes – Electro-Discharge Machining (EDM), laser welding, laser drilling, laser micro-machining, and milling
  • Applicants must be a US Citizen or existing Green Card Holder due to our customer facilities access requirements
  • Based in or around Minneapolis, MN, but willing to travel to visit customers and for trade events. If you are actively relocating to this area, please make this clear in your application.
