We are seeking a part-time Recruiting Coordinator to join our team on a 1099 contract basis. This role is anticipated to require approximately 10-20 hours per week initially, with the opportunity to increase closer to a full-time position. The Recruiting Coordinator will source top talent, screen candidates, manage our interview process, and communicate weekly status updates to the HR Manager. This role focuses on growing Pivot’s talent pipeline and ensuring a positive and engaging candidate experience.
The ideal candidate has experience in employee relations, recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees. They should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator with a proactive attitude. If this sounds like you, we’d love to connect!
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as an ambassador for Pivot by supporting all Talent Acquisition efforts
- Collaborate with the HR Manager and executive team to create and advertise job postings
- Source candidates, screen resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, coordinate interviews with Pivot and candidate schedules, and perform reference checks
- Recruit for a variety of roles, including consultant positions in communications and organizational change management, as well as internal team roles in HR, finance, accounting, and leadership.
- Communicate with candidates in the pipeline regularly, providing status updates and maintaining engagement for future opportunities.
- Maintain a strong and full consultant candidate pipeline.
- Manage and maintain the candidate database in our ATS (Harvest) and HRIS (BambooHR).
- Assist the HR Manager with drafting offers and executing other key recruitment tasks to ensure the hiring process runs smoothly.
Requirements
Core Skills and Qualifications
- 2–4 years of recruiting experience
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for internal communications and change management functions.
- Experience sourcing candidates in unique ways
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Strong communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented, fast-paced, and capable of multitasking
- A curious learner, excited by new challenges
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with working alongside corporate communicators.
