Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures
- Perform quality inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement
- Analyze and report on product quality metrics and trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Participate in product testing and validation activities
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of quality assurance documentation
- Provide training and support to team members on quality-related topics
Requirements
Requirements:
- BS/BA in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve defects, ambiguous or conflicting requirements, and inconsistencies in functionality
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the software is bug-free and meets the required specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report on findings
- Ability to work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to deliver high-quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Familiarity with agile frameworks and regression testing, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
- Openness to working in an agile environment and actively cooperating with the team
- A strong advocate for and adherence to high-quality standards
