Full Job Description
The Project Manager oversees day-to-day project activities, including management of the internal and contractor based team’s work, including expectation setting through client communication. They are expected to wear many hats, but are generally responsible for maintaining a scope of work, empowering production staff, and ensuring the happiness of our clients. The Project Manager has a unique autonomy to be strategic with decision-making around the prioritization of work, based on constraints and goals. They are involved in the project from start to finish.
This position is central to the integrity and effectiveness of the company. With a smart, experienced, and disciplined Project Manager, Boomtown will be able to deliver on its service commitments to clients in an organized, efficient, and profitable manner.
Responsibilities
Client and Project Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Plan, schedule, and manage client projects across our service offerings: strategy, founder-led marketing, event marketing, community, and performance marketing.
- Support the development of the project vision while managing and prioritizing cross-functional requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of deliverables and milestones.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking timelines, budgets, and scope.
- Facilitate presentation of milestones/deliverables to the client.
- Monitor and communicate project status, risks, and challenges to both clients and internal teams.
Team Collaboration
- Build effective working relationships with the Boomtown leadership and execution teams
- Facilitate communication between internal teams, including marketing, creative, and analytics, to ensure seamless execution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
- Provide feedback and insights to optimize processes and improve project outcomes.
Process Optimization
- Implement and maintain project management tools and methodologies to streamline workflows.
- Recommend strategies and solutions to improve capacity utilization.
- Establish best practices and templates for managing projects effectively across clients.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance client satisfaction.
Reporting and Analytics
- Prepare and deliver project reports, performance dashboards, and client updates.
- Analyze project outcomes to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Three (3) years of experience as a project manager within an agency setting, preferably in digital marketing, advertising, or a similar field.
- Exceptional, empathetic, and approachable written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills, including structuring data and managing details.
- Highly creative and strategic problem-solver.
- Skilled at working collaboratively across varying departments.
- Positive self-starter who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects at any given time.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and work with unknowns.
- Mastery of Google’s G Suite of products including Gmail, Docs, and Drive.
- Proficiency with the MAC operating system and MAC software.

- Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 USD/Year
