Luminary Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Architect to join our client's team in the medical device industry. As a Program Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and strategic direction for the development and implementation of medical device programs. This is a 6-month full-time employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design and development of medical device programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical strategies and solutions.
- Define program architecture, design patterns, and technology stack, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct feasibility analysis and technical evaluations to assess risks and opportunities for program success.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify and address program dependencies and interdependencies.
- Manage program scope, timeline, and resources, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement in program development processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in the medical device field.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards for medical device programs.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the quality and reliability of program deliverables.
- Provide regular program status updates and reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on medical device programs.
- Proven track record of leading and managing complex programs for medical devices.
- Strong knowledge of medical device industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience with program architecture and design, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and compliance.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
- Experience with embedded systems development is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
