Job Description

Seven Hills seeks a Middle School Special Education Teacher at its Richfield Campus for the 2024-2025 school year. The primary duties of this position involve effective lesson planning, confident student management, and expertise with due process paperwork. Experience and familiarity with charter public schools are advantageous, and a knowledge and appreciation of the Classical education model is ideal.

Key Responsibilities:

*Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials based on specific student-based (IEPs) or other needs.

*Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.  

*Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and productive learning environment.  

*Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners and accommodate individual learning styles.  

*Collaborate with school staff and administration to support student learning and address any challenges.  

*Follow school policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
