About the Role

A fast-food restaurant chain specializing in chicken wings is seeking a talented content creator and social media manager to establish and maintain their social media presence on a part-time contract basis. The role focuses on managing Facebook and Instagram accounts, creating engaging content, and building brand awareness through these platforms. This position offers a long-term commitment opportunity and may require occasional on-site presence in Minneapolis, USA.

Responsibilities:

  1. Set up and optimize Facebook and Instagram accounts for the company
  2. Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand goals
  3. Create engaging, high-quality content for Facebook and Instagram, including images, videos, and written posts
  4. Manage daily social media operations, including posting content and responding to customer interactions
  5. Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies accordingly
  6. Analyze social media metrics and provide regular performance reports
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms
  8. Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote products, events, and special offers
  9. Engage with the online community to build brand loyalty and increase customer satisfaction
  10. Stay updated on platform changes and adjust strategies as needed

Requirements

  1. Proven experience in social media management and content creation, preferably in the food service industry
  2. Strong understanding of Facebook and Instagram platforms, including best practices and advertising options
  3. Excellent creative skills with the ability to produce visually appealing content
  4. Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  6. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role
  7. Flexibility to work remotely with occasional on-site presence in Minneapolis, USA
  8. Knowledge of social media trends and ability to apply them to content strategy
  9. Experience with photo and video editing software
  10. Understanding of brand voice and ability to maintain consistency across platforms
  11. Availability for a long-term commitment
  12. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  13. Familiarity with the fast-food industry is a plus
