Fractional People Operations Lead
Remote | St. Paul, MN
10-20 hours per week
Duration: December 2024 - March 2025

As Fractional People Operations Lead, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining BetterYou’s people processes. You will work closely with Leadership to provide an exceptional candidate and employee experience, and build out innovative and efficient processes as we scale that drive excellent business and people outcomes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Own end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Co-create onboarding plans in collaboration with managers. 
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of training programs to support employee development and address skill / knowledge gaps.
  • Manage and maintain BetterYou’s Performance & Development process. 
  • Own employee milestones and recognition processes. 
  • Oversee annual employee benefits selection and maintenance. 
  • Champion a positive, inclusive culture through engagement initiatives and collaborative team-building activities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, addressing workplace issues and fostering a supportive employee environment.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Experience - Required: 

  • 5 years of people operations, HR, or other relevant experience – an emphasis on building high performing teams and inclusive cultures in a fast-paced environment.
  • Worn many hats and are flexible in partnering with different teams depending on company priorities. 
  • Experience driving efficiency and delivering on measurable impact through data.
  • Proven attention to detail through prior work or life experience.
