Position: Facilities Maintenance

Superior is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance professional to join our team. As a Facilities Maintenance professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities, including the repair and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge in various trades, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a part-time position requiring 25 - 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including HVAC system maintenance, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, and carpentry work.
• Inspect and troubleshoot building systems and equipment to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
• Coordinate with external service providers for repairs and maintenance work that cannot be handled in-house..
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Respond to maintenance requests and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Assist in the planning and execution of facility improvement projects.
• Collaborate with all shop locations to address facility-related issues or requirements.
• Complete maintenance and repair documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Maintenance at all 4 locations (Eagan, St Paul and Apple Valley)
• Valid driver's license.
