Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

Lamination Booth
This position is responsible to making quality fiberglass parts utilizing an open mold process. We provide hands on training to learn how to be successful in this role.
Hand lay up of fiberglass material into mold
Utilize rollers to work the sprayed resin into the material thoroughly wetting the material and removing entrapped air and smoothing out any wrinkles
Properly assemble and disassemble/clean the lamination gun
Chop or hand lay material in an even coat not using too much or too little resin
Select proper rollers and roll out all air pockets
Keep resin and catalyst filled
Read, understand and follow work procedures
Identify defects and follow proper procedure for non-conformance
Follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE
Maintain all necessary documentation related to position
RTM
A RTM operator is responsible for making fiberglass parts via a closed mold process for a major bus company. The process is done by injecting chemicals into a closed mold. We provide hands on training to learn how to be successful in this role.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cutting required fiberglass materials to proper size and shape
Setup injection equipment with required settings and operates more equipment to inject parts
Maintain and perform small repairs on equipment in area
Inspect mold surface, before and after producing part, for any defects
Inspect parts after demold for any non-conformities
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
· Prior experience in composites or similar industry preferred
· Strong problem-solving ability including troubleshooting and resolving issues
· Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
· Must be able to reach and bend on a consistent basis
· Must be able t occasionally lift 50 lbs
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task production environment
· Effective communication skills, both verbal ad written
· Ability to organize and prioritize workload
· Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment
· Ability to work in harmony with others while maintaining a positive and professional attitude with overall success in mind
· Evidence of a satisfactory work record including performance, attendance and teamwork
· Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with issues logically and within the company guidelines
· Available for overtime as needed
