Certified Medical Assistant

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have: - Active certification as a Medical Assistant - Minimum of 1-2 years of direct experience in medical assistance - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - License or certification from an accredited Medical Assistant Program - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and other standard clinical tools and supplies - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in basic computer skills Preferred qualifications: - Experience in a primary care or specialty care setting - Knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes - Familiarity with laboratory and diagnostic testing procedures
