Full Job Description
- Assisting healthcare providers with exams and procedures
- Taking patient vital signs and documenting medical history
- Performing basic laboratory tests and collecting specimens
- Preparing examination rooms and maintaining cleanliness
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient information
- Administering medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Scheduling patient appointments and managing medical records
- Providing exceptional patient care and addressing patient concerns
Requirements
- Active certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)
- Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
