As a renowned thought leader in this emerging market, InOrder is at an exciting inflection point in our growth and we are looking for a Social Media Intern to help tell this powerful story to grow InOrder’s visibility and influence.
The Social Media Intern will play a crucial role in capturing and creating engaging social media content across various platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. The ideal candidate will be responsible for attending events, capturing photos and videos, and transforming them into professional marketing content. They will also handle media received from other staff members, ensuring all social media accounts are updated with original posts at least twice per week and all posts are tagged appropriately.
Requirements
- Event Coverage: Attend company events and activities to capture high-quality photos and videos.
- Content Creation: Develop and curate engaging and professional social media posts for LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok using the media captured. Proficiency in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok). Strong photography and video skills, including experience with editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar). Receive, organize, and edit photos and videos from other team members, ensuring timely and effective content creation. Ensure that each social media account has at least two original posts per week, maintaining a consistent and engaging online presence. Apply relevant hashtags and tags to posts to maximize reach and engagement. Stay up-to-date with current social media trends and best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
