Summary:
This position is responsible for keeping track of incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing items for shipment, complying with instructions and prescribed routines and methods or procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prepare items for shipment.
Primary Duties:
- Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise or material according to specifications.
- Receive, unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material.
- Inspect for damage. Complete information on damage claims for in-transit damage.
- Transport materials to shipping area.
- Arrange for the transportation of products.
- Maintain records, input data, and create reports using inventory software/database. Maintains records of all items received and shipped.
- Receive goods and verify the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; check against suppliers count and immediately report discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing per company policy.
- Verify and record all items loaded for shipments.
- Maintain database of shipment data to ensure that customer orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided to finance or other associated departments as required.

Education and Experience:
- Minimum education of High School Diploma or GED required, Associates Degree preferred
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Prior shipping and receiving experience preferred.
- Prior experience using ERP Software preferred, but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to traverse distribution area and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
Other Requirements:
- This is an on-site position. Must be available to work at the 900 Mount Laurel Circle, Shirley, MA location.
- Must be a US Person.
