SAT Tutor - Andover, MA. 55/hr-65/hr

TPAPT, a national consortium of over 12,000 locally owned and operated Tutoring & College Advising Programs, is seeking SAT Tutors to work with students in Andover, MA. Tutor are responsible for providing in-person tutoring sessions to students at the local library.

Location: Andover, MA

Classification: Part-time, Contract

Tutoring Type: In-person, 60-minute sessions

Compensation: $65/hr-$75/hr

Responsibilities

• Work closely with students to assess their needs and create personalized lesson plans
• Help students understand math concepts and problem-solving strategies
• Provide guidance and support to improve students' SAT test taking skills and confidence
• Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Communicate with students' parents or guardians to provide updates on progress and areas for improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Prior experience tutoring or teaching SAT test prep
• Intimate knowledge of the SAT the new Digital SAT
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
• Patience and the ability to work effectively with students of different skill levels
• Reliability and professionalism

Benefits

Salary: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4-8 hours of availability as follows:

• Weekdays between 3pm - 8pm
• Weekends as needed
• No marketing
