Your Title: Risk Analyst Associate
Your Location: Remote/ Anywhere in the US
You Report To: Director, Strategy & Analytics
Compensation: $65K-$68K + Bonus + Benefits!
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate various new program and data sources and their impacts on company’s profitability and potential growth.
- Perform ad-hoc and what-if analysis for various business process improvements and strategic initiatives.
- Continuously improve modeling methodology while keeping abreast of regulatory requirements for modeling usage in auto industry.
- Assist in supporting the development, validation, and maintenance of Originations, Pricing, Loss Forecasting, Servicing, and Collection scorecards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields such as Statistics/Data Science/Econometrics/Mathematics/ Business Analytics preferred.
- Prior 1-2 years’ experience as a risk modeler, risk analyst, credit risk analyst or portfolio analyst in financial industry is preferred.
- Experience with a data scripting language (Python, SAS, R) & SQL and analyzing large and complex data sets is required.
- Knowledge of various statistical techniques is a plus.
- Strong written & oral communication skills, with an ability to create clear and concise communication is required.
