Full Job Description
Miller Transportation Group is looking for a Rental Account Manager to support our growing company in southern New England and will be supporting our shops in Hartford (CT), Shrewsbury (MA), and Braintree (MA). This position is an addition to our sales team and will require a combination of account management and outside sales techniques. Ideal applicants will have commercial truck rental experience and the ability to work independently.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Selling commercial truck rental services to businesses in accordance with established company guidelines
- Responsible for following the company's merchandising plan in developing the rental customer base on both an aggregate and branch basis
- Act as a liaison between internal customers such as the maintenance department, lease sales representatives, and management
- Knowledgeable of trucks, truck equipment, and trucking regulations
Requirements
You Have:
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
- Prior Commercial Truck Rental experience
- Outside sales experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
- Willingness to travel as necessary
You May Also Have:
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Familiarity with DOT regulations
