EF Senior Care, the leading Senior Living Management/Consulting firm in MA is looking to hire Registered Nurses (RN) (LPN) on Nantucket at Our Island Home. Our Island Home is a charming 45-bed Skilled Nursing Facility dually licensed in Medicaid and Medicare since August 2007 and owned by the Town of Nantucket. 

POSITION SUMMARY: Registered Nurse (RN) (LPN)

Knowledge of current DPH long-term care regulations for nursing homes. Prior experience or knowledge of current COVID compliance guidelines. You will be interviewed and hired by the Town of Nantucket. Housing will be provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Registered Nurse (RN) (LPN)

•  Deliver the highest quality care to our patients with compassion.
• Positive communication with residents, families, staff, and outside providers.
• Have a sense of warmth and personal interest and create a positive environment.
• Charting as required, in accordance with stated documentation policies and procedures.
• Participate in the planning of shift services and programs.
• Direct the nursing assistants to ensure quality care is always provided.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Complete assessments, care plans, treatments, etc.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• License as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.
• Current with Massachusetts Continuing Education (CE) requirements
• Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply; oversight support will be provided
