Job Description:

The Registered Dietitian will have the responsibility and accountability to offer specialized services to patients. They will facilitate communication among food production staff, hospital staff, and patients, ensuring the delivery of accurate, appropriate, cost-effective, and high-quality nutritional care in accordance with the standards, policies, and procedures of the Food Services Department. The Registered Dietitian will conduct nutrition consultations, maintain detailed patient records, and assist patients in setting and achieving their health goals, all while adhering to the guidelines of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Requirements

Experience:

• Minimum of three year's experience as a Licensed Dietitian in an acute setting
• Experience in nutritional counseling, excellent verbal and written communication and prioritization skills.
• A self starter who has a strong sense of ownership and with the ability to tackle their assigned tasks independently as well as within a team
• Is proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office
• Experience with HCS a plus

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited Dietetics program is required
• Master's Degree in Nutrition preferred
• Active and current Registered Dietician License in the state of Massachusetts is required
