Full Job Description
· Carry out monthly cost to complete process for assigned projects:
· Preparation and maintenance of monthly WIP file and reconciliation to the General Ledger.
· Control and have at all times full knowledge of all financial movements within projects, particularly revenue and cash, and ensure such information is accurate.
· Ensure the economic and financial management of the project, following all company procedures while hitting financial targets for the project.
· Work closely with the Project Managers to meet all goals and deadlines.
· Participate in Project Management team meetings.
· Along with the project manager, prepare project budgets and forecasts.
· Regularly monitor assigned project performance and ETC/EAC for reasonableness against plans and actual expense rate.
· Compile monthly cost and revenue projections across all active projects to generate a Thirteen Week Cash Flow (monthly).
· Actively participate and assist with the management of the monthly financial closing process and procedures.
· Ensure effective project change management.
Requirements
• Five years' work experience in project controlling, ideally in the construction trades
• Commitment, openness, and ability to embrace change
• Knowledge of project management software and/or ERP systems dealing with Job Costing
• Experience within a Project environment
• BS in accounting/finance or related discipline.
• Strong office (Excel) skill set
