Summary
Operating within a high mix, low volume job package environment, the Production Support Manager will coordinate the effective flow of materials through Micross Hi-Rel Solutions work stream. This key role manages a team responsible for supporting all aspects of the planning, scheduling, and tracking of workflow from material receipt through final shipment. This position functions as a liaison between all departments and must effectively communicate to meet production commitments. Has full management responsibilities for direct reports: interviewing/hiring, performance reviews and coaching, training and professional development.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Manages all scheduling with outside vendors.
- Coordinates expedites and other scheduling commitments with the sales organization.
- Prepares and provides various reports for management, to include ongoing management of WIP.
- Participates actively in Production, Operations and lean improvement projects and meetings.
- Develops mitigation strategies to meet contractual delivery requirements, overcome capacity constraints and optimize work centers.
- Manages ongoing and new programs for scheduling.
- Effectively coordinate/communicate with members of other departments within the company including production, engineering, quality assurance, and sales
- Advise sales of any issues and inform them of any changes to original commitments. Manage an effective working line of communication with people from all areas and all levels of the organization that influence or are affected by the master schedule.
- Responsible for scheduling production to achieve on-time-delivery for customer orders and internal metrics.
Requirements
- BS degree with 5+ years’ experience in planning/scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience within the electronics segment preferred. Or 10+ years of related experience and proven performance in a manufacturing environment may be acceptable in lieu of a degree.
- Self-motivated, energetic, dependable, honest, and thorough. A versatile, self-starter with a positive attitude, who is cautiously assertive.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills are required.
- Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Competent with computer software such as but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project) & ERP systems.
