Full Job Description
Precix Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing, purchasing, and procurement of goods and services for the company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining quality standards and optimizing costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's objectives
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and pricing
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery terms
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and manage supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and anticipate material needs and ensure timely procurement
- Monitor market trends and fluctuations in pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring uninterrupted supply
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and supply chain management best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
