Full Job Description

Precix Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing, purchasing, and procurement of goods and services for the company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining quality standards and optimizing costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's objectives
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and pricing
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery terms
  • Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and manage supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery and quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and anticipate material needs and ensure timely procurement
  • Monitor market trends and fluctuations in pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring uninterrupted supply

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and supply chain management best practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
