Physical Therapist

Evaluates, directs, plans, and provides treatments for patients with a wide variety of disabilities to help them achieve a maximum level of functional independence. Documents patient care and results of treatment appropriately in the medical record to comply with policies and procedures of the department and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

·        NEW GRADS are welcomed to apply. Two year's experience preferred. 

·        Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in area of major

·        MAPT - Current MA license to practice physical therapy

·        Ability to comprehend and write the English language

·        Must possess sight/hearing senses to use prostheses that will enable these senses to function adequately so the requirements of the position can be fully met

·        Ability to use: Rehab equipment including but not limited to splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, ADL equipment and modalities.

·        Must be able to work indoors, and outside, in-patients' rooms, therapy gyms, occasionally in a patient’s home and in the community.
