People Operations Intern / HR Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Remote HR Intern to join our People Operations team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR administration, hiring, and onboarding processes while contributing to the development of a virtual training program.

We are looking for this person to start ASAP and work until the EOY 2024 in a part-time capacity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the HR team with administrative tasks related to hiring and onboarding employees
• Assist in posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting initial phone screenings of candidates.
• Help organize team-building activities and assist in gathering feedback for engagement surveys.
• Maintain accurate employee records and assist in the preparation of HR documentation like offer letters.
• Lead a project to transform the HR onboarding program into a virtual and repeatable training module in our LMS system
• Support the team in various HR functions as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently
• Advanced critical thinking skills.
• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in college, ideally majoring in business, psychology, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and a tech-savvy mindset.
• Willingness to ask questions and learn new software quickly.
• Familiarity with Slack and BambooHR is a plus.
