Full Job Description
A fast growing, dynamic DOD Contractor in Boston’s Seaport that provides logistics, procurement, and supply chain support to the US Military and Federal Government, is looking for a NetSuite Developer to join it’s Netsuite support team. The developer will be responsible for maintaining the company’s existing NetSuite processes and helping the company expand its functionality. This is a great opportunity for developers who want to work in an exciting, fast-paced environment with plenty of learning opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize NetSuite to develop scripts, workflows, and custom forms
- Resolve technical issues and conduct root-cause analysis
- Install, configure, and maintain integrations and bundles
- Streamline engineering processes by researching technical problems and implementing solutions
- Create an archive of complex saved searches and build NetSuite reports
- Maintain and update bulk records via CSV or workflows
- Develop internal dashboards that meet management requirements, including the calculation of custom KPIs
- Effectively communicate with team members and maintain a professional attitude
- Provide prompt responses to internal technical issues
- Understand and promote the company mission and values
- Establish and ensure follow-through of industry-standard best practices, safety policies, and procedures
- Keep abreast of new innovations and train/develop new skills and processes
- Conduct and/or participate in review activities to give and receive constructive feedback
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a NetSuite Developer
- Advanced skills with NetSuite Typescript, NetSuite RESTlets, SQL, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of Google Workspace and related products
- Process-thinker, sharp problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude
- Customer-focused mindset, excellent customer service skills with an ability to prioritize customers
- Ability to effectively work with various cross-functional teams such as engineering, sales, etc
- Demonstrate grit and perseverance by leaning into every challenge and getting it done
- Ability to take risks and revel in crushing competitors
- Flexible and adaptable to frequent change
- Good interpersonal skills and fluency in English
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, or customer service are a plus
Work Environment
Required to meet with customers in various environments, with a personal at home office for administrative duties. Office spaces will be available if required at our 3 sales operation centers (Boston, Harrisonburg, or Stevensville)
