The Manager of Workforce Compliance & Human Resource will work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to optimize strategic solutions to increase a diverse workforce of People of Color, Women, Veterans and local residents on active construction projects. Overseeing the administration of compliance across all InOrder projects by internal compliance team, providing expertise and guidance on the execution of best practices and actionable plans for resolution. Working with regulatory agencies and awarding authorities, this candidate will play a vital role in meeting client demands to drive positive outcomes, maintaining functional and operational delivery, managing partnerships with key stakeholders – leading collaborative efforts to achieve organizational and project specific goals. As the point person responsible for managing key HR functions, this includes coordinating hiring efforts, facilitating the onboarding process for new hires and maintaining procedural steps to obtaining required documentation; working collaboratively with the CEO to support training & educational development to support the company’s long standing culture of excellence and integrity in delivering exceptional services to our clients and community. This multitasked position is critical to advancing diversity and equity both externally and internally. Must have a keen ability to manage complex projects, interpret data, and measure KPIs for targeted results. This candidate will be a self-starter, a team-player, that is result-driven with a strong passion for diversity, equity and inclusion and the built environment.
Requirements
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compliance & Project Management:
- Manage IOB active workforce compliance portfolio. Oversee all project performance, establish action plans and provide guidance to IOB compliance managers on active projects. Assist in project set-up.
- Analyze project data and compliance reports; interpret findings and identify gaps to establish solutions to mitigate risk and maintain project compliance. Lead coordinated compliance efforts with the internal team.
- Manage communication with clients, project managers, sub-contractors, trade unions, and stakeholders.
- Manage the utilization of reporting platforms to collect data for project output i.e LCPTracker, Salesforce.
- Prepare qualitative and quantitative reports for clients and government agencies, as needed.
- Coordinate and facilitate project compliance meetings with external stakeholders. This includes, but not limited to, subcontractors, clients and awarding authorities. Utilize internal systems to track all correspondence and correlating documents.
- Oversee the management of subcontractors weekly submission of weekly certified payroll reports. Assess data and identify deficiencies by project, by trade and by client, execute on actionable steps to resolve.
- Execute regulatory requirements as defined by municipalities and awarding authorities.
- Provide ongoing support to InOrder Business operation and functional team, leading DEI initiatives and community engagement efforts as needed. Work collaboratively with the internal team to meet business objectives.
HR Functions
- Manage HR related functions, such as, new hire administration and onboarding process; coordination of communication and employment correspondence. Establish processes and new practices to align with internal SOP (Standard Operation Procedure).
- Support OPs with educational training for new hires and employees. Included but not limited to compliance and construction management.
- Point person for third-party employment vendors and facilitator of all POE’s (Professional employment organization paperwork).
- Lead efforts to support and drive a positive working environment and inclusive company culture.
