Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
- Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities to ensure comfort and dignity.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, medications, and care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in good standing from the state where services are provided.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with the ability to maintain this certification.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care with strong interpersonal skills.
