We are seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant who will be under the direction of the Leasing Manager. This role will assist the Manager with all leasing activities such as: showing units, processing applications, and assisting with resident services and resident retention. Also takes direction from the property manager when assisting with management office functions. This individual performs customer service and administrative tasks necessary to provide responsive, courteous, and efficient service to all individuals who come in contact with the management office.
Job Functions:
- Markets vacant units to potential residents.
- Completes leasing process.
- Provides superior customer service.
- Assists with resident retention and services.
- Ensures the efficient operation of the management office.
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday
- Offices are closed on Sundays.
- This may be subject to change if vacancies rise at the property.
Requirements
- Excellent resident relations, customer service, and telephone skills.
- General Office Skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent marketing skills.
- Detail oriented.
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to work on simultaneous tasks calmly and effectively.
- Interest and ability to interact with other people effectively.
- Interest and ability to learn.
Knowledge of:
- Business English and letter format.
Experience:
- Prior work experience in an office environment.
- 2+ years of experience in leasing, marketing, or related fields preferred.
Level of Education/Training/License:
- Bachelor's degree in business or marketing preferred.
