Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision to support staff in delivering high-quality services to clients.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans based on client needs and goals.
- Facilitate group and individual therapeutic sessions to promote emotional wellness and recovery.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting support plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Provide training and support for staff on best practices in mental health care and client engagement.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and families, addressing concerns and providing information about MHA services.
Working Schedule:
Mon-Thurs and Sundays 1pm - 9pm
Requirements
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license, sufficient auto insurance, acceptable driving record, and a safe reliable vehicle during working hours.
- Must be able to pass and maintain certifications in medication administration (MAP), CPR, and First Aid.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- College degree in a human services relevant field is preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in mental health or social services, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of mental health issues and recovery-oriented practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport with clients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead staff effectively.
- Proficiency in assessment tools and the development of treatment plans.
- Crisis intervention skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
