Kitchen Utility Worker

We are currently seeking dedicated Kitchen Utility Workers to join our team. As a Kitchen Utility Worker, you will play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, assisting with food preparation and dishwashing, and ensuring a smooth operation in the back-of-house. Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks in the kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping surfaces, and emptying trash
• Assist with food preparation, such as washing and cutting vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling dishes
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, such as dishwashers and food processors
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools
• Organize and stock supplies in designated areas
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations and company policies
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Kitchen Utility Worker or similar role in a restaurant or food service setting
• Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety practices
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time, lift and carry heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks
• Flexibility in schedule, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with strong communication skills

Pay:

$18 per hour
