As a Jet Engine Mechanic at Zulu Pods, you will be hands-on with advanced jet engine systems and components, focusing on the assembly, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of engines and related equipment. You’ll work closely with our engineering and R&D teams, ensuring our products meet the high standards required for aerospace applications. Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly, disassembly, inspection, repair, and testing of jet engines and their components according to company standards and industry regulations.
  • Troubleshoot engine systems and components to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of engines, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineers and R&D teams to support the development and testing of new engine technologies.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in developing and refining maintenance processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience working on jet engines, with a strong understanding of engine mechanics, systems, and repair techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with engine assembly, disassembly, and testing procedures.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and industry safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • A team-oriented attitude with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Due to the nature of the work applicants must be US Citizens with no known issues that would prevent them from obtaining security clearance.
