Overview:
Redpoint Global is a fast-growing, Massachusetts-based company whose software applications help organizations around the world optimize their use of customer data to orchestrate customer engagement and accelerate marketing and business success. The Redpoint Customer Data Platform (CDP,) provides a unified view of a customer, determines next-best actions and orchestrates highly-personalized and contextually relevant customer engagement across all touchpoints.
The Position:
The Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting the marketing team with various elements of projects, including support for global events, product marketing, market research, and general marketing intern duties. The role requires a general understanding of marketing concepts, a strong attention to detail, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks. Specific responsibilities may include:
· Doing research that supports marketing activities, including market research
· Conducting competitive analysis research and documentation
· Tracking and reporting on marketing metrics
· Helping prepare materials for sales events, webinars and tradeshows
· Helping edit pre-show documents for upcoming tradeshows and webinars
· Collecting and filling post-show lead metrics from live and virtual events
· Providing admin support as needed for marketing activities
· Helping to curate and edit product marketing materials
· Creating social media posts in line with marketing calendar
· Drafting event blurbs for publishing on corporate website and social media sites
· Maintaining customer advocacy project
Requirements
The successful candidate will be enrolled in a university or college and studying marketing, communication or general business. We are looking for a driven, ambitious individual who aspires for a career in marketing. We are offering a flexible part-time (20 hours/week) schedule and the opportunity to experience the industry from the inside and gain valuable work experience. Other requirements include:
· Familiarity with marketing, events and social media helpful
· Ability to multi-task and take initiative
· Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
· Be proactive: able to identify gaps/opportunities and implement improvements
· Understanding of key elements in promotions on social media platforms
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
· Additional ‘nice to have’ skills: experience with graphic design applications, social media outlets, survey software, video and/or photography skills
