Interim/Permanent Director of Nursing-Our Island Home on Nantucket

EF Senior Care is currently seeking an Interim/Permanent Director of Nursing for Our Island Home on Nantucket.

As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of quality patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and managing the nursing staff. Housing will be provided.

Our Island Home is a charming 45-bed Skilled Nursing Facility owned by the Town of Nantucket. 

In this role, you will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care for our residents. You will provide leadership and support to the nursing staff, oversee the development and implementation of care plans, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• At least 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a long-term care setting.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations pertaining to nursing facilities.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
