About the Opportunity:

Your Title: HR Associate
Your Location: Remote/Anywhere within the USA (EST or CST preferred)
You Report To: Senior Manager, People Operations
Schedule: Monday – Friday 9am -5:30pm EST
Compensation: $22.60/hr+ plus bonus!
The HR Associate will support and contribute to various human resources functions, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HRIS. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the department and the alignment of HR practices with the company’s goals.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions and issues
- Foster positive employee relations, and work to solve any issues promptly and effectively
- Assist in the development and administration of employee engagement initiatives
- Lead new hire orientation weekly in conjunction with the rest of the People Operations team
- Conduct exit interviews with separated employees
- Manage socialization and engagement programs initiated by the HR department
- Assist with management training and company-wide event logistics and itineraries
HRIS and Technology
- Act as the point of contact for various HR-related systems - Can include: HRIS system, rewards and recognition platform, learning management system, company travel system, etc.
- Manage vendor relationships affiliated with employee engagement. Assist with vendor due diligence and selection
Training and Development
- Assist with implementing and delivering various trainings across multiple topics
- Act as a contact person for the learning management system, Juno Journey
- Assist with monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs
HR Policies and Compliance
- Implement and communicate HR policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and complete employee records
- Prepare and analyze basic HRIS reporting
- Conduct audits of HR processes, systems, and documents to ensure compliance
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in human resources or a related field
- Strong understanding of basic HR principles and practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
