Requirements
As we develop in the healthcare industry, we need to grow in how we present our value proposition in chronic conditions management. We are looking for a Healthcare Communications Manager to join the Health Solutions marketing team and be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies related to medical messaging and healthcare content. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that marketing campaigns accurately convey the benefits of the company's solutions.
Reporting to the Global Marketing Manager, you will be a key member of the marketing team and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and medical affairs, to ensure alignment with company objectives and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop Medical Messaging: Research, analyze, and translate complex medical information into clear and compelling messaging suitable for marketing materials, campaigns, and sales collateral.
- Educate Team on Medical Concepts: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate marketing team members on medical terminology, disease states, treatment options, and healthcare trends relevant to the company's product offerings.
- Content Creation: Create engaging and informative content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and educational resources, to support marketing initiatives and establish the company as a thought leader in chronic condition management.
- Collaborate with Clinical Experts: Work closely with clinical advisors and healthcare professionals to validate messaging accuracy, ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, and incorporate clinical insights into marketing materials.
- Drive Thought Leadership: Identify opportunities for thought leadership initiatives, such as speaking engagements, webinars, and industry partnerships, to enhance the company's visibility and credibility within the healthcare community
- Monitor Industry Trends: Stay updated on advancements in healthcare technology, remote patient monitoring solutions, and chronic disease management practices to inform marketing strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Support Product Positioning: Assist in developing product positioning strategies based on market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback, with a focus on highlighting the unique value propositions of the company's connected devices for specific chronic conditions.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for Withings' preventive health mission and the potential of technology to improve our lives
- 5 years of professional work experience with a background in healthcare marketing - a technology company would be a plus!
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, healthcare administration, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MPH) preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, disease pathology, and treatment protocols, with experience in healthcare communications or medical writing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven track record of developing impactful marketing content and campaigns in the healthcare industry.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
