Bevi is on a mission to disrupt the beverage supply chain and replace single-use water bottles with smart water machines. Thousands of companies use Bevi to sustainably provide their employees with pure, sparkling, and flavored water at work. As the market leader in IoT-enabled beverage machines, we’ve raised over $160M in venture capital and we have grown tremendously each year since launch. In addition to maintaining hypergrowth with our current product line, Bevi is heavily investing in new product development.

We are looking for a Hardware Test Technician who can work as a key member of our multidisciplinary engineering team to support tasks ranging from machine builds to data collection to design projects. You should be comfortable multitasking and generating deliverables with the appropriate level of detail.  

Location: This Boston is located in Bevi’s Boston office

What you will do:

  • Work with product, engineering and R&D teams to create world class refreshment experiences
  • Evaluate components and systems for reliability, cost and technical fit
  • Design, build, and run experiments and engineering test fixtures. Compile test data and results.
  • Provide feedback to engineering team on machine design and performance-related issues
  • Build engineering prototypes and/or rework existing systems for lab and field testing

Requirements

We think you will bring:

  • Experience running hardware tests for various electromechanical systems.
  • Experience with various data acquisition techniques.
  • Demonstrated organizational, planning and prioritization skills
  • Comfortable with open-ended direction, seeking out answers, and working independently when necessary
  • Ability to open, read and interpret CAD models and drawings.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Aptitude and desire to work in a dynamic environment in a self-motivated, action-oriented fashion.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with refrigeration systems is a plus.
  • Experience with various manufacturing methods including machine shop equipment and 3D printing is a plus
  • Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience
