Diversity and Inclusion Intern

OUR PROGRAM Salary.com provides a customized Summer Internship experience for High School Junior and Seniors, and College Students in the Greater Boston area. Our custom Internships allow Students to explore a career area while developing business skills in a real-world setting. We work closely to mentor and create a detailed work plan for each intern student.   

We are looking for a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Intern to join our team this summer!  

Pay: 

$15/hour 

Location:  

Fully remote position with IT equipment provided. Optional opportunities to visit our office in Waltham, MA.  

Requirements

Hours: 

This is a 6-week Internship from June 24th-August 2nd, 2024. Please note, due to the short nature of our summer program, we will NOT be able to consider candidates who are unavailable for any weeks or consecutive days during the full 6-week period.  

20 hours per week with three options for shifts. NOTE: The shift you select will remain consistent throughout the 6 weeks.  

1. Monday-Friday 10am-2pm EST 

1. Monday-Friday 12pm-4pm EST  

1. Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 10am-4:30pm EST  

Interests: 

• Willing to learn processes around client management and project management 

• Interest in learning about DEI/Inclusive Culture building 

Role Responsibilities: 

• Market Pricing (may be assigned to 1 – 2 simple Consulting projects) 
• DEI 2024 Calendar buildout and activities 
• Collaborating on a DEI planned event 
• Marketing Content creation (creating LinkedIn posts, developing questions for Community posts on Comp and DEI topics) 
• Write a blog for consideration of publish to the website

• Advise on updates to student’s resume and LinkedIn profile. 
• Provide feedback and mock interview opportunities with coaching.  
• Be available for letters of recommendation and references after completion. 
• Meet with students and mentors throughout the internship. 
• Be available to answer questions and assist students.
