Our Position
Verista is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to join our team. As the Director, FP&A, you will play a crucial role in driving financial success and supporting the strategic growth initiatives of the company. The successful incumbent will prepare and review complex financial systems and processes, provide a comprehensive and in-depth analysis to drive results as well as lead the forecasting process for the organization.
Reporting to the CFO, the successful applicant will develop and ensure quality execution of FPA in a timely manner while setting an example for the team based on the company's culture defined by professionalism, hard work, and a positive attitude while adhering to the stated Company values found below. The role requires a high degree of professionalism and initiative in directing a small team as well as working collaboratively with the organization's leaders and cross functional teams,
Director, FPA Responsibilities:

- Develop detailed financial models including projections, valuations, and investment return analyses for Verista’s internal budgeting purposes and for evaluating acquisition targets. These models should comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Lead the forecasting process, collaborating with department heads and executives to gather and incorporate key data and assumptions.
- Direct the overall process for the bottoms-up development of the annual expense budget, resource planning analysis, and rolling forecast updates.
- Prepare modeling for potential M&A opportunities to assess integration and synergies, financial projections, valuation and returns, and impact to overall company. Assist in due diligence processes for potential investments, including financial, operational, and legal diligence.
- Prepare regular reports for the Board of Directors and senior management on the company’s performance, including presentations for quarterly board meetings and ad hoc presentations as needed.
- Work collaboratively with Verista’s private equity partner and lenders , providing data and analyses as requested; and act as a liaison to the private equity partner, fostering strong relationships and effective communication;
- Work collaboratively with IT and finance leadership to develop our financial reporting systems such as data rails to ensure we automate an integrated forecasting process.
- Work collaboratively with the accounting team to develop our weekly cash flow process.
- Support the annual budgeting process by collecting, analyzing and consolidating financial data comparing forecast to actuals and to budget.
- Effectively manage the FP&A team by coaching, counseling and monitoring employees' performance.
Our ideal candidate has a proven track record in financial planning and analysis, with a deep understanding of corporate finance concepts and strong analytical skills. You should be a strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels are also essential for success in this role.

Requirements
Requirements: -
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field - MBA is a plus
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role -
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance concepts and financial modeling including financial statement analysis and basic corporate finance concepts
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables and data analysis - and Powerpoint (using professional formatting standards)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills -
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills -
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment -
- Proven ability to build and manage high-performing work teams
- Process improvement experience a plus in this role
- Knowledge of Power BI Datarails, or other data visualization tools is a plus

The actual salary is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, market demand, and competitive market practice. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
$110,000 - $164,500
