Miller Truck Leasing is hiring multiple experienced Diesel and Reefer Technicians to work out of our Franklin, MA shop. Ideal applicants will have experience working as a Diesel Technician and will have Refrigeration experience and an interest in advancing their career and technical knowledge. If you're a Diesel Technician without reefer experience we still need you too!
Diesel Mechanic Technician Duties:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles
- Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes (Company supplied OEM software) following proper warranty procedures
- Repair / Replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments
- Replace clutches & transmissions
Refrigeration Technician Duties:
- Perform general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 refrigeration vehicles
- Diagnose, document, and repair refrigeration equipment following proper warranty procedures
Requirements
- Prior experience working as a diesel mechanic, reefer mechanic (with 608 certification), fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic
- Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors or diesel refrigeration units
- A valid CDL (Class A or B) or the ability to acquire a Commercial Driver License with the assistance of our trainer
- Hand tools
- Ability to work either:
- 1st shift: Thursday through Sunday 6am-4pm, can be flexible
- 2nd shift: Tuesday through Friday 2pm-10:30pm and Saturday or Sunday, can be flexible
- 2nd shift: Monday through Friday 2pm-10:30pm
