SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM FOR RISING COLLEGE SENIORS
Are you a rising senior in college looking for a dynamic and meaningful summer experience? Our Summer Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop professional skills, and make an impact within our organization. This paid internship is designed to provide real-world exposure, mentorship, and collaboration with peers, all while preparing you for the next step in your education or career. This role may or may not meet some or all of your school required criteria for an internship. Please share details in the application.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
- Duration: June 16th through July 25th
- Schedule: Monday through Friday (4 days of department work + 1 day dedicated to a group project)
- Locations: Boston Office on Wednesdays and Thursdays, Remote on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays
- Work hours: 8:30 - 5:00 pm
- Compensation: $18.00 per hour
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Departmental Work: Interns will report to an executive within their chosen department and perform the work described in the relevant job description.
- Collaborative Group Project: Every Wednesday, interns will come together to collaborate on a group project addressing a real-world business challenge or opportunity for our company. This project will give you the chance to think creatively, develop teamwork skills, and showcase your ability to solve complex problems.
- Final Presentation: On the last day of the internship program, interns will present their group project findings and recommendations to company leadership. This is your opportunity to demonstrate what you’ve learned and make a lasting impression on decision-makers within the organization.

Requirements
YOUR TEAM OBJECTIVE
As an Intern in Brand Marketing, you'll support the team in collaborating to strengthen our brand awareness and acquiring new target demographics through cross-functional programs. You’ll assist with our Executive Speaking business, Brand asset organization, building collateral supporting Brand, eComm and Wholesale channels, analyzing competitor and industry research to share with the greater team. You’ll gain hands-on experience with holistic brand strategies and tools while contributing to the success of more optimists learning about Life is Good and becoming loyal customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assist Sr. Brand Marketing & Speaking Manager in the lifecycle of a Speaking event (pre, during, post talk)
- Provide Speaking content to cross-functional team members to utilize on Social, eComm, Public Relations, Wholesale and internal communications
- Research best practices in Speaking/Thought Leadership and industry news, providing insights to the team for growth and improvement
- Organize key Brand assets (images, videos and more) for turn-key use on the Brand team and throughout Life is Good
- Assist the Photography team in naming, organizing, uploading images to Widen (data asset management system)
- Partner with Wholesale and Brand team members to brief cohesive marketing collateral needs into the Creative team
- Support Sr. Manager Social & Community in organizing and sharing Fuel Stories internally at Life is Good
- Assist Sr. Brand Marketing Manager in building recap decks to share with key internal stakeholders
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- A rising Senior currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Interest in full funnel Brand marketing channels and tactics
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for organizing data and creating presentations
- Familiarity with tools like Asana, FourSixty and Widen
