Requirements
We are looking for an Associate Accountant to help our finance team with filing, organization, and reconciliation tasks.
This position will be based in our Boston, MA office, 3X per week hybrid capacity.
As Associate Accountant, you will work at the direction of the Senior Accountant to ensure that routine accounting and organizational tasks are completed with accuracy and precision, in a timely fashion. An ideal candidate for this role will have great attention to detail, be able to manage their own time and effectively prioritize tasks, and be able to handle confidential financial and personal information with the utmost discretion.
Responsibilities:
- Full cycle accounts payable
- Bank reconciliations
- Filing and organization in office
- Google Drive organization
- Banking functions
- Chargebacks
- Credit card reconciliations
- Other accounting/bookkeeping tasks as needed
Required experience
- 0-3 years of experience, if 0 years of experience must have at least one internship in a related field
- Previous professional experience with bookkeeping and/or accounting
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to manage own time and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to handle confidential financial and personal information with discretion
- Software proficiencies: MS Office (particularly Excel), Google Suite, SAP
- Enthusiasm for Withings' preventive health mission and the potential of technology to improve our lives
- Willingness to figure out problems with little assistance
- Ability to problem solve and analytical thinking
