Architectural Designer

Summary

Wilson Butler Architects is an innovative and collaborative design studio specializing in arts and entertainment experiences. Our award-winning portfolio features projects ranging from historic theater restorations; to state-of-the-art performing arts centers; to planning and designing the most cutting-edge vessels in the cruise ship industry. Our studio is growing and we are seeking an Architectural Designer with a minimum of 8 years experience to join our team!

Throughout all phases of the design process, our office requires people to work both collaboratively and independently. Our ideal candidate will exhibit the following traits:

• Strong design capabilities complimented by presentation skills that convey design thinking

• Flexibility and eagerness to take on new challenges and assignments on complex project types

Requirements

Holds a professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited program

• 8 years full-time experience

• Licensure preferred

• Has strong verbal and written communication skills

• Experience working in a collaborative studio environment with teams of varying sizes

• Experience managing aspects of projects from conceptual design through project completion  

• Must be highly proficient in Revit and Rhino

• Knowledge of Vray and Enscape is preferred

• Comfortable with Adobe Creative Suite
