Qualifications
- Knowledge of traffic analysis software, (HCS, CAD, Synchro, VISSIM preferred);
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD
The estimated starting base salary for this role is $64,000-$78,000.

Your Day to Day
- Conduct capacity and queueing analyses at stop-controlled intersections, signalized intersections, and roundabouts
- Prepare trip generation forecasts
- Assist with the written preparation of traffic impact studies, technical reports, and parking studies
- Review roadway geometrics and signal timings
- Evaluate roadway segment operations using both macrosimulation and microsimulation software
- Evaluate bicycle and pedestrian operations and safety
- May act as technical resource for client
- Research local design standards for preparation of traffic studies
- Travel to and from job sites, other offices, and meetings, as required
- May perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Requirements
Education
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or Transportation Planning
- F.E. or E.I.T preferred
Experience
· Typically, 0 to 3 years of experience.
· years of experience in traffic engineering and/or transportation planning
