Summer Teacher Math/ELA

Connelly School of the Holy Child is seeking a dedicated Summer Teacher to join our team for the summer program. This is a great opportunity for educators who are passionate about teaching math and English language arts and enjoy working with students during the summer break. Description & Details

Connelly School of the Holy Child is a Catholic, college preparatory school, committed to the intellectual, spiritual, artistic, physical, and social development of young women in grades 6 through 12. Our summer program aims to provide students with a supportive and academically stimulating environment.

·        Teach math and English language arts courses to students during the summer program.

·        Develop lesson plans and curriculum that align with the program objectives and standards.

·        Create engaging and interactive learning experiences for students.

·        Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

·        Collaborate with other summer teachers to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

·        Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

·        Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.

8:30am-2:30pm  (6 hours), 2 Week Summer Program

Additional Responsibilities- Supervision of lunch period to include before and after lunch.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in education or relevant field.
• Prior experience in teaching math and/or English language arts.
• Strong knowledge of the subject matter.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons.
• Patience and enthusiasm for working with students.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
