IT Concepts is looking for an experienced communications and narrative expert to support the ITC Service Delivery Teams. This is a creative role providing direct support to the Agency portfolio executive leads and. The communications and narrative expert is critical to the shaping, refining and effectively conveying the ITC message across various mediums and audiences through the power of storytelling.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with all levels of executive and portfolio management to understand the organizations strategies.
· Lead and ensure consistency of all communications materials across the portfolio, customers, and capabilities.
· Develop compelling and coherent storylines that resonate with the intended audience, both internal and external customers, facilitating growth and adoption.
· Engage with Corporate Service Leadership to produce white papers, use cases, customer quotes, etc.
· Engage with Service Delivery leadership and Corporate Service Leadership to produce Program Management.
· Reviews, CPARS, communications plans, Monthly Status Reports, onboarding communications material, etc.
· Develop and implement comprehensive communications and change management strategies that support ITC’s strategic objectives for the Agency.
· Analyze existing narratives and monitor the effectiveness of communications and change management to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
· Conduct research to understand the target audience to align the narrative resonates with the intended audience
· Lead the use of storytelling as a strategic tool for change management, branding, marketing, or communication purposes.
· Develop narrative campaigns, messaging frameworks, and content strategies.
· Provide constructive feedback and guidance improve the storytelling craft of portfolio staff.
Location: Preferably reside in the DMV area to support all SSA work.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in related field
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution (preferred)
- Experience aligning ideas with a brand's objectives.
- Experience demonstrating strategic thinking skills, through understand the broader strategic goals of the organization or project and develop creative solutions that support strategic objectives and change management.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills that foster collaboration, and ensuring everyone works towards a common creative vision.
- Demonstrate understanding of design principles, typography, color theory and other aspects of visual communication.
- Experience creating and communicating visual concepts through storyboards, mood boards, sketches, or other methods to convey ideas to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Experience understanding a brand's identity, values, and positioning, and ensure that all creative output is consistent with the brand's guidelines and messaging.
- Demonstrate proficiency digital tools and platforms for design, animation, video editing, and other creative.
- Experience using change management principles to identify challenges, anticipate issues, and develop innovative solutions.
- Demonstrate an understanding of current design trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies.

- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously
Clearance requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain public trust clearance
