VoIP Engineer
Astor & Sanders, an IT solutions provider located in McLean, VA, is currently seeking exceptional candidates for a Cisco VoIP Engineer experienced to assist our client with providing Level 3 network support. This position is hybrid onsite in New Carrollton, MD.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Cisco VoIP issues (Network, Software and Hardware)
- Provide Level 3 VoIP support
- Work with NOC VoIP team planning and upgrading UC, UCS and VMWare servers
- Provide Support for BareMetal setups (network device refreshes)
- Monitor incoming tickets and take the appropriate action, including updates and closures.
- Provide “state of the network” status reports throughout the shift.
- Monitor and open tickets for selected network events.
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Providing Level 3 VoIP support at an enterprise level
- Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering or equivalent.
- Troubleshooting Cisco VoIP issues with connectivity
- 5+ years of IT experience in network, infrastructure and communications
- Experience with IT in a Federal environment
