Job Summary
Senior Research Analysts, Psychometrics, Patient Centered Outcomes (PCO)
Senior Research Analysts, Psychometrics, in the Patient Centered Outcomes (PCO) team, are essential contributors working across a range of projects which are conducted for our pharmaceutical clients, primarily. They focus mainly on quantitative work relating to patient outcomes, and more specifically, focus on statistical analysis of data collected from patients and other key stakeholders (e.g., clinicians, caregivers).
Senior Research Analysts possess a proficient ability to implement and interpret output of linear models, generalized linear models, linear/generalized linear mixed models. They have an understanding and relevant experience with latent variable and mixture models.
The majority of the work is regulatory focused, therefore, our Senior Research Analysts also generate evidence for submission to federal regulators at the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and European Medicines Agency (EMA), along with occasional interaction with other international regulators.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and performing reviews of medical literature (most frequently focusing on patient-reported outcomes
- Survey design and development
- Primary data collection, coding and analysis
- Assisting in the development of study documents such as study proposals, protocols, interview guides, coding tools, reports, and study slides
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Master of Science (MSc) or PhD in Biostatistics, Psychometrics, or a relevant science such as Health Economics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Pharmacoeconomics, or Psychology
- 2+ years of experience in a consulting or agency setting
- Fluency/proficiency in at one of the following programming languages: R or SAS
- Understanding and relevant experience with survival models is preferred
- Strong communicator (both written and verbal) with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to prepare and present relevant summaries of complex materials
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple projects sometimes with competing deadlines
- Highly proficient in MS365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
