IT Concepts is looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager & UX/UI Expert to support the Social Security Administration under Call Order 4 - AWNTS. The Senior Program Manager, UX/UI Strategy will lead pivotal projects that merge strategic oversight with advanced UX/UI design expertise. This role involves guiding cross-functional teams to develop transformative solutions that achieve key business objectives while delivering exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate user-centered design principles with program management, driving innovation and ensuring impactful, user-friendly outcomes. This position requires a blend of strategic vision, project management skills, and a deep understanding of UX/UI best practices.
Location: Hybrid, Woodlawn, MD and Baltimore, MD
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive program strategies that align with organizational goals and incorporate advanced UX/UI principles.
- Manage complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and meeting high-quality standards.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of user-centered design solutions.
- Promote best practices in UX/UI design, ensuring that design solutions enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
- Oversee project resources, manage risks, and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
- Utilize user feedback and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and optimize design solutions.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative design and program management approaches.
- Manages contractor resources and ensures all contract tasks are completed.
- Acts as manager and coordinates all contract-related activities.
- Serves as liaison with Government officials and customer Agency representatives.
- Oversees funds, personnel management, and ensures timely delivery of contractual deliverables.
- Enforces work and quality standards, supervises personnel, and ensures compliance with Government contracting clauses.
- Ensuring that all required resources are available for program implementation supporting the Agency’s strategic goals and objectives and IT Vision.
- Ensuring contractor’s corporate interests and activities do not conflict with or violate Government restrictions or edicts.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in related field, including supervisory and project management
- Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Experience in developing and deploying complex IT systems
- Experience developing briefings for Senior Leaders
- Solid understanding of Audit requirements
- Knowledge of different types of IT solutions available in the market and ability to map them to solve business problems
- Experience presenting to and working with all levels of management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience interfacing directly with clients
- Extensive experience as a UX Specialist, UX/UI Designer, and Information Architect with a proven track record in leading and managing user-centered design projects.
- Experience including but not limited to, Director and Web Designer, showcasing a strong background in leadership, project management, and design.
- Proficient in user research, information architecture, usability testing, prototyping, responsive design, and mobile/app design.
- Strong leadership and project management skills with hands-on experience in Agile methodology.
- Competent in coding (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and utilizing design tools such as Axure, Sketch, Balsamiq, InVision, Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Experienced with design and prototyping tools including Axure, Sketch, Balsamiq, InVision, Adobe XD, and Photoshop.
- Skilled in Microsoft Suite for effective documentation and communication.
- Proven ability to analyze user feedback and performance data to drive design improvements and strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to introduce and integrate innovative design and program management solutions in various roles.
Clearance requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
